Projects we are focusing on

Medical check up camps
Health Awareness

Free medical check-ups and medicine for the underprivileged and marginalised sections in society.

For the past three years, Aid for Esha has been conducting free medical camps across various slum areas. We provide:

  • Free medical check-ups

  • Homeopathic treatments

  • Access to healthcare for those who cannot afford it

Our medical camps serve hundreds of individuals who otherwise have limited access to quality healthcare.

Prevent the diseases and decrease mortality and morbidity rates by regular health check ups and preventive care. It can be achieved by providing information and awareness.

With the key focus on women health and hygiene we have launched menstrual hygiene awareness program. This program aims to break the taboos surrounding menstruation and empower women and girls with knowledge about menstrual hygiene. We provide:

  • Awareness sessions on menstrual health

  • Distribution of sanitary products

  • Education on maintaining proper hygiene during menstruation

This initiative has been vital in reducing health risks associated with poor menstrual hygiene in slum communities.

WASH CAMPAIGN

Our Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) campaigns aim to improve living conditions in slum areas. Through our efforts, we educate families about:

  • The importance of clean water

  • Proper sanitation practices

  • Hygiene habits to prevent disease

We've successfully conducted WASH campaigns in the slums of Okhla, Delhi, reaching hundreds of families.

Educational Support for Slum Children
Mahila Shakti Program

We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Aid for Esha provides:

  • Career guidance and counseling for children in slum areas

  • Support for open schooling for those unable to attend regular schools due to financial or social barriers

  • Mentorship programs to help students explore various career paths

Our educational support program ensures that every child has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their circumstances.

Women in slum communities often face abuse and harassment but are unaware of their rights or how to seek help. Our Mahila Shakti program focuses on:

  • Legal awareness campaigns to educate women about their rights

  • Empowering women to protect themselves from abuse and harassment

  • Offering legal and social support through partnerships with various stakeholders

This program is crucial in helping women access justice and live a life free from fear and violence.
